Over the last 15 years, 2oceansvibe’s dream of having its own “shop” has morphed from nightclub to a members’ bar to this – Café du Cap – presenting the essence of the 2oceansvibe lifestyle.
From the best Croque Monsieurs in town, to a lunch salad bar and plat du jour that has already made its name amongst Cartel House members, Café du Cap‘s French Provençal / Med influence is clear. Mixed with chilled, jazzy tunes, the FT Weekend, signature 2ov palm trees and the odd Montecristo, you’ll be forgiven for finishing a bottle of rosé by yourself.
In fact, it’s encouraged.
Not yet officially open – possibly next week – you can poke your nose in at the bottom of Cartel House – 113 Loop Street. There is no signage (stealth).
But, more importantly, we’re looking for a waitron. Tables are limited so there is a big opportunity here for somebody to dominate the entire café and make some good cash doing it. Send an email with the subject “I am the chosen one” with a short CV and a pic to editor@2oceansvibe.com and let’s make it happen.
