It’s always a good day out when you catch a few waves, but if you’re not freaked out by the odd fin breaking the water’s surface then dolphins are certainly an added bonus.

Durban surfer Mike Kirk got up close and personal with a pod whilst surfing at Umdloti Beach last week, and it’s clear that they don’t mind his presence at all.
