One thing has become clear this past week or so, if you didn’t already know it – Zapiro doesn’t care much for what social media, or the media in general, has to say about his cartoons.
Last week it was the Zuma rape cartoon that had people up in arms (HERE), and you wouldn’t be the only person who thought he may lie low for a while until the backlash simmers down.
Nah, not happening, because this is what appeared in the Sunday Times over the weekend.

The South African with a little explainer:
His Easter cartoon depicts South Africa as Jesus on the cross, with Gwede Mantashe playing the role as Pontius Pilate, the Guptas as Roman soldiers making sure he’s dead and Zuma helping to wash the guilt clean.
