Julian Assange is no stranger to the media spotlight, the public’s fascination regarding his relationship with Pamela Anderson a decent example (HERE).
It’s not often he allows an all-access pass into his daily life, though, which is something he granted filmmaker Laura Poitras.
If her name seems familiar that might be because she was behind the Oscar-winning Citizenfour, the doccie that showed the story of whistleblower Edward Snowden.
Now Laura focuses on the man behind WikiLeaks, with Rolling Stone saying the following:
…Showtime calls Risk a “first-person geopolitical thriller told from the perspective of a filmmaker immersed in the worlds of state surveillance and the cypherpunk movement.” The documentary, executive produced by Mr. Robot creator Sam Esmail, is expected to premiere this summer.
