I’m sure Aberdeen striker Miles Storey has dreamt about having his name in the headlines at some point in his career, but he would have hoped it wasn’t for a miss that many are dubbing one of the worst of all time.

Bear in mind that this happened during a Scottish Premier League match, not some lower division that is obviously filled with players who can’t make the grade, so you would expect a chance like this to be tucked away without much hassle.

Alas, as you see below, that was not the case:
