Mel B has a thing for bad, bad men.
At one time it was Eddie Murphy who, back in 2007, refused to acknowledge the birth of his daughter with Mel B until the child had a paternity test.
Now, court documents have revealed a horrific catalogue of alleged abuse against the British star, during her marriage to producer Stephen Belafonte.
From surreptitiously videotaping them while they had sex with numerous partners (20 is the number flying around) and holding it as blackmail, to racial slurs, as well as emotional and physical abuse, the latest accusation to come out is that Belafonte “treated the nanny as his wife – even impregnating her,” writes The Daily Mail:
[Mel B] claims he treated German nanny Lorraine Gilles, 26, as his wife telling Mel that she raises the children better than her and she’s a younger, better looking model.
She alleges he gave her tens of thousands of pounds of Mel’s cash, including $300 000 for ‘nanny services’ and claims she was paid to have an abortion after she fell pregnant with his child.
Allegedly, Gilles and Belafonte were having sex during the seven years she served as their nanny.
[Mel B] went on: (He) immediately began setting Lorraine up as my rival. She answered to, and reported to (him). The singer told of her ‘shock’ and ‘disbelief’ when Belafonte told her 26-year-old Lorraine was pregnant with his child in 2014.
‘(He) told me he wanted her to have the baby and all three of us live together. I was shocked and in disbelief. ‘(He) later demanded that Lorraine had an abortion. Respondent used money earned by me to pay for Lorraine’s abortion, and he used money earned by me to pay for Lorraine’s hotel stay while she recuperated from the procedure.’
She said Belafonte, 41, ‘went ballistic’ when she finally found the courage to sack her in January 2015.
As it stands, neither the nanny nor the estranged husband admit to any of these allegations.
