It was earlier this year that Adele married her long-time lover, Simon Konecki.
Now the two, along with their son, Angelo James, have moved into the most humble, “unflashy” country home in East Grinstead, West Sussex.
The 19-hectare country estate, Ridge Hill Manor, had been listed by Savills for around £4 million (R67,5 million) and had been described as set in an elevated position, “amidst beautiful, lightly wooded countryside in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, bordering the picturesque Bluebell Steam Railway,” reports Stuff.
It is beside the Bluebell Steam Railway in a region officially designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Believed to date back to the 18th century, the eight-bedroom manor house is a timber-framed and brick building with numerous period features, including exposed timber beams and trusses, and several open fireplaces.
The house features a grand entrance hall, and a “magnificent galleried drawing room”, with a “handsome stone fireplace and vaulted ceiling”.
The listing said the reception rooms are served by a “spacious and well appointed kitchen/breakfast room with Aga, together with a number of utility rooms and an integral staff annexe”.
“The majority of the bedroom accommodation is arranged over two floors, linked by the drawing room gallery, and including a charming master suite with superb southerly views.
“In addition to the main house are three cottages, all offering excellent ancillary accommodation, together with a garage block and two Victorian green houses.”
Sounds charming, doesn’t it? Let’s take a look:
Yeah, let’s hope she has plans to redecorate the interior.
