Although ANN7 rates itself as a news network, it showed little consideration when reporting on the condition of struggle veteran Ahmed Kathrada earlier this week.
Stumbling over her words, their journalist not only referred to Kathrada as ‘Cartwright’, but at one point said:
“Guys, I can’t.”
Can’t what? Remember the name of one of South Africa’s most loved and respected anti-apartheid activists? I can’t.
What is even worse is that the Gupta-led network also had the name of the hospital displayed incorrectly on the screen.
Check it:
Such mistakes coming from a network run by a family whom Kathrada had very little regard for kinda says something – whether unintentionally or otherwise.
