If you’ve ever been to a decent music festival, you’ll know that the choices can be overwhelming.
You somehow wish you could split yourself down the middle and be at two stages at the same time, but the best you can do is to come up with a plan of action.
You’ll need one if you’re headed to the Cape Town International Jazz Festival, because over the weekend (that’s this Friday and Saturday) the Cape Town International Convention Centre will have four concerts a night on each of the five different stages.
Hey, they don’t call it ‘Africa’s Greatest Gathering’ for nothing.
A quick reminder that there’s still a VIP experience up for grabs – all those details right HERE – but hurry, because the competition closes tomorrow.
40 artists, 30 000 fans, and super cool fashion brands that are going to turn heads at the festival. WearSA, the local collective that is shaking up the fashion industry, are showcasing some of their top brands, highlighting made in South Africa and brands that can hold their own on any international platform.
With that in mind look out for the Wear South African pop-up store, which will be in a snazzy container. The name will be lit up so you cannot miss it. But to make sure you don’t, the Wear South African container will be on the west side of the CTICC, next to the Baseline Stage and underneath the fly-over bridge.
You will have the chance to shop bluecollarwhitecollar, Democracy of Denim, Wear South Africa and Magents.
Just keep an eye out for the WearSA logo [that’s the one above], which will be in a light box above the container, and you’ll find your way over in no time.
In addition to the pop-up store, keep an eye out for their exciting activations. Snap a picture with your friends, share the sweet hashtags and you can have your photo printed as proof that you were lucky enough to visit the Jazz Fest.
There are also other exciting photo opportunities, which are perfect for the social media times in which we live.
Enjoy jazzing it up this weekend and happy shopping!
