Food, glorious food, is only complete with an ideal glass of wine alongside it, no?
I mean, food and wine have been a perfect pair since, like, forever. Now HQ, who are at the top of the game when it comes to set menus and delightful wine offers, are launching their first ever Raise the Steaks dinner to honour this.
Yup, Raise the Steaks is a food-and-wine-pairing experience where HQ invites three top local wine farms to pair one of their speciality wines with one of HQ’s three courses.
29 March. 7PM. Talk about winning.
And, just in case you were curious, the first Raise the Steaks dinner features a 250g Ribeye steak – check the full menu:

However, if you prefer to concentrate on one wine farm during such an occasion, HQ’s Fine Wining may be your wine-and-food-pairing evening of choice.
Once a month, HQ invites one of the Cape’s most popular wine farms to showcase their best wines, artfully paired with HQ’s speciality dishes.
On April 5 – the second Fine Wining experience of 2017 – HQ will be hosting Boschendal.
Bookings for both events are essential, and can be made by contacting HQ on 021 424 6373 or via email: management@hqrestaurant.co.za.
