With the recent devastation local fires are causing on our mountains and fields, burning everything from fynbos to fauna as well as any buildings and infrastructure that gets in the way, the tireless effort of firefighters and community volunteers has been inspiring.
In light of this, local self-storage legends Stor-Age, are once again doing their part to help those who are in need.
Creating a drop-off point at their Stor-Age location in Gardens, Cape Town CBD (which is right across the road from the Cape Town fire station) you are welcome to drop off water (non-sparkling), energy bars and drinks, baby wipes and lip balms, as well as any non-perishable goods and ready-to-eat food items.
However, if you are unable to drop off the donations, Stor-Age will come and pick them up.
The guys at 121 Roeland Street have gone one step further, too – they are giving free storage to anyone’s house that has burnt down.
