The world is a wonderful and mysterious place, so I hasten to write anything off as completely beyond the realms of possibility.
Heard the one about the man who lives in the sky and watches our every move? I know, right.
I have more than one friend who believes in the existence of aliens – that’s aliens, not Unidentified Flying Objects which are, by very definition, “a mysterious object seen in the sky for which it is claimed no orthodox scientific explanation can be found”.
So where can alien believers, and those who may have taken their obsession to the next level, hang out and chat about the latest developments? We found some believers chatting away at Gather Online, a new social network designed to connect like-minded user through topical conversations.
Here are some comments from the group Signals From Space Aliens?:
This video was posted on the group, which explains a little more about those ‘signals’:
So is everyone chomping at the bit to announce extra-terrestrial contact? Not so fast…
Although one person does seem pretty stoked at the thought of it all:
I’d have to say I’m in the same boat there, although in terms of ways to go out of this world a massive alien invasion is pretty badass.
The same person also posted this picture, apparently taken a few months ago in Florida:
That chap seems pretty shocked, and I certainly don’t have a clue what’s happening over here.
Anyway, some folks seem pretty won over by all this talk of alien signals:
Judging by the state of the world I’d be inclined to say it’s the aliens that should be worried.
Of course no chat such as this would be complete without a healthy dose of, um, whatever this is:
You knew it was coming, didn’t you?
Perhaps you want to weigh in with your own experiences and see who nibbles, so pop on over to that Gathering (HERE) and weigh in with whatever it is you want to say.
Of course Gather Online has more going on than alien talk – take a look at the range of categories we found:
Looks like a little something for everyone, whether or not you believe aliens walk among us, so sign up for free and get chatting.
