It’s been a pretty crummy few days for Zuma and his cronies, and things just got a whole lot worse.
First Shaun Abrahams and the NPA came out looking like buffoons when they dropped all charges against Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan, and then earlier today Zuma himself withdrew the interdict to prevent the release of Thuli Madonsela’s State Capture report (HERE).
Then, when most thought this was another case of something that would drag on for months amidst legal wranglings, along came this announcement.
Seriously, look at the joy in the courtroom when the decision was announced:

The Public Protector has been ordered to release the report on “state capture” by no later than 17:00 on Wednesday.
Well, well, well – there you have it.
So I think it’s time to sit down and digest exactly what’s contained in that report. What we’ll do now is give you the report in full – available from the Public Protector’s website.
