Fibre is slowly taking over affluent parts of South Africa.
While other provinces wait tirelessly for the trenches dug deep into pavements to be filled with cables and eventually connected, many suburbs in Cape Town are ready to rumble – and every month more are being added to the list.
Last month, it was mainly areas in the Cape’s CBD which received a lot of fibre loving and, along with RSAWEB‘s legit FTTH deal, people were pretty sorted with their connection.
Check all that information out HERE.
But this month, the completed suburbs are outside of the CBD jurisdiction. Here’s the list, from RSAWEB:
Johannesburg – Craighall Park, Randpark, Morningside, Blairgowrie,
Houghton Estate.Cape Town – Constantia, Newlands, Tokai, Plattekloof, Blouberg, Camps Bay
This is the full list of Cape Town suburbs that currently have fibre:
I guess Constantia will be organising their swing parties at high speed from now on.
