The property business is a cutthroat one, even here in Cape Town where we’re paying ridiculous money for anything remotely near the CBD.
You can’t watch a TV show these days without being interrupted by someone saying ‘I am Pam‘, and then of course there’s Lawrence Seeff counting his bucks mount up as the seconds tick by (HERE).
I suppose it’s a necessary evil, but when someone sent us this picture below we thought you might like a look yourselves.

Oh, I get it – and at least they’re doing better than their fellow Kloof Street businesses (HERE).
The person driving the car was so keen to see the properties listed that they actually drove into the store, and they failed to ‘put on the brakes’.
Brilliant, opportunistic advertising – or tacky and in bad taste?
Maybe if they promise to can the TV ads and leave us in peace we can let this one fly, as long as they’re cool with others wanting to ram their vehicles into the premises in order to secure first offer on a property.
My mate’s been struggling to find a place for a few months now, but he does own a bakkie. Can I tell him to use his bullbar to plough right in and jump the queue?
