It was announced by Apple on Monday that the company would be updating its App Stores prices in South Africa and New Zealand.
While we don’t really care about the latter, here’s the deal: prices will be decreasing in South Africa, while increasing in New Zealand.
How’s that for some good news?
According to 9to5mac, Apple explained that prices would be going down in SA because of foreign exchange rate, and the change would occur over the next 72 hours.
However, no reports on just how much that change will be.
Here’s what they said about New Zealand:
In New Zealand, Apple says that the introduction of goods and services tax is causing prices to increase.
Proceeds for the App Store in New Zealand (including subscriptions) will change to account for the interaction of goods and services tax (GST), effective since October 1, 2016. Prices on the App Store won’t change.
If you have an app on iStore and might be affected by the change, you should check your email for the notification from Apple.
Whooo! Let’s download all the apps.
Oh wait, I only have a 16 GB iPhone 4.
