By now I think you know your fair share about what’s happening at universities across the country, so we’re not going to rehash that.

It’s been another day of high tension at UCT, and it looks like the firecracker has finally been lit this past hour or so.

As protesters attempt to shut down classes, clashes with police have become increasingly heated. The SA Police are on campus, as is private security, and it’s clear neither are too popular.

Here’s a video uploaded just before 1PM, showing one of the more violent altercations:

I suppose it was only a matter of time until students and police clashed, given that this was the scene yesterday:
