Imagine jetting from one part of the world to another on a private plane, designed with your every need in mind
Think a contemporary-style bedroom with a touch of classical elegance, a king-size bed and designer furniture, champagne at the ready and, of course, magnificent panoramic views.
Obviously that’s how the wealthy do it, and the cabin of an Airbus A330 VIP (above) will have all those features in it when it’s launched, costing a casual $200 million.
Currently being kitted out by Swiss firm Comlus, the aircraft “represents the state-of-the-art when it comes to luxury aircraft cabin design”.
It looks like a flipping apartment.
Unfortunately for most, the inside of the plane they use to travel is a lot different to this, unless you have a few billion to splash around of course.
For the rest of us there’s Travelstart and their legit local flight deals (HERE), with a constant array of special to keep everyone interested.
As long as I get to where I want to go on a flight with costs starting at around R600, I can do without the king-size cushions.
They also have pretty epic specials coming up next month, dubbed Woahvember (get it?), so keep an eye on those and get in while the price is right.
