Maybe it was because he took the time to ask about the presidential candidates’ plans for going green, or maybe it was that he spoke with a slight lisp.
Maybe it was just Ken Bone’s red “sweater”.
Whatever the reason, the Internet has taken Bone from a seven-Twitter-followers nobody, to a meme super star.
Bone, who was just one of the many undecided voters who attended the second presidential debate night, asked one simple question:
What steps will your energy policy take to meet our energy needs while at the same time remaining environmentally friendly and minimising job layoffs?
Forget the answer given from either candidate, because Bone immediately stole the Internet’s hearts, prompting them to create a slew of memes on Sunday night.
Are you ready?

Snoop Dogg even wants to smoke weed with him:
After gaining 14 000 followers on Twitter, Ken Bone was interviewed by CNN, who he told he actually walked away without a final verdict:
I know people hate to hear this, but I think I might be more undecided than ever. I was leaning toward Trump, but I was impressed with Clinton’s composure and I look forward to the third and final debate.
I’m really glad that so much attention has come my way, if for no other reason than I can get the message out that your voice can be heard, and please get out and vote in November.
If you feel like your vote doesn’t matter, it does. Make your voice heard.
At least Twitter has its way of making the debate night better:
…and we couldn’t agree more.
