I don’t know who ‘they’ are, but I’ll take some of whatever they’re smoking.
There really is something about a Bigfoot sighting that captures people’s imaginations, so we’ll have a look at what’s on offer here for shits and giggles.
This times it’s a live stream focused on a bald eagle nest over in Michigan’s Platte River State Fish Hatchery. Whilst the avid birders would have been focused on the nestlings, it is the murky figure in the background that has grabbed the headlines.
What do you think?
The Detroit Free Press give their take:
A dark figure — walking on two legs too much to be a bear — can be seen moving up a wooded slope, pausing on a fallen tree, then leaping down a slope and out of view.
It’s definitely Bigfoot. Or a man in an ape suit. Or just a normally dressed guy in silhouette.
“Like most videos purported to be Bigfoot, it’s grainy and out of focus — of course, the camera wasn’t set up to be focused on the ground; it was focused on the nest,” said Ed Eisch, DNR Fish Production manager for the state and the Platte River hatchery.
I say spare a thought for those birds, their moment in the limelight stolen by some hairy beast in the background.
