There’s something about Scientology that is truly fascinating, and if you feel the same way I expect you’ve watched Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief.
If you haven’t you can watch the trailer HERE, and examine the seven biggest revelations from the doccie HERE.
Now it’s the turn of Louis Theroux to try and delve deeper into the organisation, although his attempts are perhaps a little more comical.
Here’s the blurb from the official trailer:
Inspired by the Church’s use of filming techniques, and aided by ex-members of the organization [sic] Theroux uses actors to replay some incidents people claim they experienced as members in an attempt to better understand the way it operates.
In a bizarre twist, it becomes clear that the Church is also making a film about Louis Theroux. Suffused with a good dose of humor and moments worthy of a Hollywood script, MY SCIENTOLOGY MOVIE is stranger than fiction.
Go on Louis, use all that awkwardness to piss off another group of people for our entertainment.
