Cops Are Hunting For The Person Who Hung This 30 Foot Banner Of Putin From A Bridge In New York

Vladimir Putin might not have the support of the American government, but he sure has the support of a few people over in New York.

It’s times like these that prove the Cold War isn’t really over.

It has been reported that the New York police are on the hunt, seeking the person who hung a gigantic banner of Vladimir Putin over the edge of the Manhattan Bridge on Thursday.

This comes after tension between the States and Russia rise over interests in Syria.

The banner, which was 20 x 30 feet, had the word “Peacemaker” in capital letters and that says it all:

The banner was called in at 2:45PM and removed half an hour later, but the police have no idea who would have hung such a thing.

They are now using surveillance footage of nearby areas in an attempt to identify the suspect – although I have no idea what they would do with the person.
