It’s only five days since Kim K was robbed of her precious jewels, but boy has it made for some spicy news all week long.
From details on the Pink Panthers, to insight into how the operation went down, every day there’s something to get readers salivating.
But one questions still remains, whodunnit?
Initially, it was thought that the thieves must have had someone on the inside. Kim Kardashian’s former bodyguard, Steve Stanulis, had this to say:
100% inside job.
They went to an exclusive place, with exclusive entrances, they knew exactly where to go and where to find the jewellery. Security was out with the sisters and Kim had been showing all the jewellery on Snapchat. It’s a perfect storm to get robbed.
This immediately led to Kim K’s current bodyguard, Pascal Duvier, being suspect number one. However, sources close to Kim say she in no ways holds him responsible for the crime.
But then there’s this from The Daily Beast:
One result of the post-heist limelight has been the big reveal that Kardashian’s bodyguard filed for bankruptcy protection 10 weeks ago, with his German security company claiming some Pascal Duvier-sized debts.
The reported €1,093,518 debt even has the case’s lawyer at a loss. In a brief statement, he told The Daily Mail, “There is so much debt. There are many claimants. I cannot say the exact number. Lots.”
Moving on, the next suspect on the list is the hotel’s concierge. The unnamed employee of the hotel, who apparently told the thieves Kim’s room number, has become a critical witness in the case.
During an interview with the cops, Kim revealed that the concierge had watched the whole crime unfold, bringing the thieves to the door, and, although he was handcuffed, maintained “an unusually calm demeanour throughout.”
And then, of course, there’s the Pink Panthers – who have yet again pulled off another smooth heist. Read about those suspicions HERE.
The Parisian heist will no doubt go down in history, and as much as Kim rates she will get her diamonds back (and has even refused to let Kanye West buy her a replacement ring) I don’t think that will ever happen.
