The Rolling Stones will outlive us all, and it seems that nothing this world can throw at Keith Richards is going to slow him down.
Now, a full 11 years after their last album, the boys are back with another offering.
Of course the hints and teasing came via Twitter (I’m guessing they don’t manage their own account), the band saying that October 6th (also known as today) would see the big announcement.
Cue your parents frothing at the mouth, and those of us who are fans of the golden age of rock ‘n roll are pretty stoked too.

The Guardian with the deets:
The band did not offer further details but Don Was, the US producer who has overseen the Stones’ studio sessions over the past two decades, said they had cut an album of takes on Chicago blues songs.
The Stones recorded the album in three days with a simple microphone set-up and no further studio touch-ups, hoping to preserve a raw, authentic feel, Was [said] last week.
Guitar great Eric Clapton also took part in sessions as he was recording an album in an adjacent studio, said the producer, who is also known for his band Was (Not Was) of the 1980s.
Keep ’em coming, lads.
