Kanye had begun to play ‘Heartless’, the third song off his 2008 album 808s & Heartbreak, when he told fans during his performance at Meadows Music and Arts Festival in New York City that the show was over.
Before he left the stage he gave a short statement:
I’m sorry, there’s a family emergency, I have to stop the show.

Kim Kardashian had allegedly been held up by gunpoint in her hotel room in Paris early this morning. Two men, armed, masked and dressed as police officers, entered her room.
Although there are no further details on the situation, Kim Kardashian – who was in the city for Paris Fashion Week – was left unharmed but badly shaken.
