Celebs are used to a ridiculous amount of attention. As they step out of any door there are hordes of people waiting to snap a picture next to their idol, but most fans don’t get physical.
So when Gigi Hadid exited a fashion show during Milan Fashion Week yesterday and instead of a measly photograph, was physically picked up, no doubt she was really pissed.
What’s so interesting, however, is not so much Gigi (yawn), but rather the man behind it.
Vitalii Sediuk is a media personality who, according to Wiki:
…has physically accosted a number of American celebrities at film premieres and awards ceremonies, having managed to gain access to otherwise restricted areas with the use of press credentials from his former employer, Ukrainian TV channel 1+1.
In interviews, he has stated he is not a stalker and is not “crazy.”
Sediuk, who hails from the Ukraine, was banned from the States after he ran onto a red carpet, made contact with Brad Pitt and broke Pitt’s glasses in 2014 at the premier for Malificent.
In total, he has had 12 celebrity incidents – read them all HERE – and close associates says while he is not generally prone to violence, he has some serious issues to deal with.
Here’s the full Gigi incident:
And the view from the other side, teehee:
So why Gigi? According to Sediuk:
While I consider Gigi Hadid beautiful, she and her friend Kendall Jenner have nothing to do with high fashion. By doing this, I encourage the fashion industry to put true talents on the runway andVogue covers instead of well-connected cute girls from Instagram.
You can call it a manifest or a protest. This is also a wake-up call for Anna Wintour, who turned Vogue into a tabloid by putting Kardashians and other similar celebrities on a cover of a well-respected magazine.
Some people immediately disregarded that reason, saying his latest stunt was nothing more than an assault on a woman, but Sediuk disagrees, responding with:
Don’t be over-dramatic.
I have no idea why, but I am completely on Sediuk’s side. Keep doing what you’re doing dude.
