In case you hadn’t noticed, it’s not just South African campuses that are being rocked by violent protests.
Over in Charlotte, North Carolina, residents are protesting following Tuesday’s killing of Keith L. Scott, hot on the heels of the Oklahoma murder of Terence Crutcher (HERE).
Frustrations boiled over on Wednesday night, with CNN correspondent Ed Lavandera barged to the ground whilst reporting live from the scene.

Later, Lavandera appeared on air with Don Lemon and told the CNN host that the person who pushed him came back to apologize [sic].
“He came up to me and actually hugged me and apologized for what he had done,” Lavandera said. “I asked him what had happened, what had made him so angry, and he didn’t really explain anything.”
Oh well, no one was hurt – except the unarmed black men that U.S. law enforcement keep on gunning down…
