Opening up a bar is risky business, and there can be no guaranteeing patrons are going to spend their hard-earned dollars at your establishment.
Unless your father is Bill Murray and he decides to play bartender on opening night, a luxury his son Homer (real name) enjoyed when launching 21 Greenpoint this weekend.
Much like Donald Trump was only given a million bucks and every business connection under the sun by his father, so should Homer be thankful.
Mashable with Bill’s toast at the opening:
“This is my first born-son, Homer. I am so happy that he has not continued in the family business…Instead, he has taken the joy of the family to have a drink, and have a meal, and have friends together in one place, and made it his life’s work. To my son, and his friends, and his work friends and all of his partners.”
First up let’s take a look at the line outside the bar:
Then let’s see Bill in action, serving (and smashing) shots:
Let’s hope Bill still finds time to star in the odd movie, the thing he used to be famous for prior to his zany public appearances.
