I’ll say it now, and I’ll say it again, thank the world of tech for surveillance cameras.
I mean, I hate the whole Big Brother vibe, but wow, they make for some real shocking insight into a world we do not often see.
In Phoenix, USA, a man drove full speed into a stationary cop car, and there were three cops alongside it. They were parked at a gas station when the incident occurred, a prime spot for CCTVs.
Here’s what The Daily Beast knows about the incident:
Police say Marc Payne, 44, deliberately crashed his red sedan into the officers, seriously injuring two of them. The third jumped out of the way. Payne then got out of his car and struggled violently with the cops for a few minutes before they finally arrested him.
Authorities say Payne has been charged with three counts of attempted murder and two counts of aggravated assault.
Records show that Payne was under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the incident.
He was previously arrested in 1997 for kicking an officer.
