Every now and again, in amongst all the headline-grabbing political squabbles, we see something that warrants a pat on the back for our bureaucrats.
Today it’s Home Affairs Minister Malusi Gigaba who deserves that credit, banning a truly awful human and his entourage from entering our country.
Back in July it was announced that Pastor Steven Anderson would be headed our way, which prompted us to take a closer look at the founder of the Faithful Word Baptist Church (HERE).
Over the months that followed a concerted effort was made to stop Anderson being granted the chance to preach his hate on our shores, and today those efforts were rewarded.
This from EWN:
Anderson, whose church is in Arizona, was set to visit the country this month as part of his church’s so called soul-winning marathon, an “an evangelical crusade”.
Home Affairs says Anderson won’t be allowed to enter South Africa in terms of the Immigration Act.
He and members of his church https://buyzithromaxonlinemed.com have been declared as undesirable persons.
‘Undesirable’ is definitely my euphemism of the day – I’d be more inclined to go with despicable cretins insistent on sowing hate.
Of course the attention-hungry muppet took to Facebook to show his outrage at the decision:
He also recorded this video yesterday, when he began to realise that his goose was cooked.
Hang around until the end, where he lovingly refers to us as ‘the rape capital of the world’.
Cool sermon bro.
Well Steven, you horrible excuse for a man, perhaps the best insult here is to suggest that you steer clear of our shores and eat a bag of dicks.
Today we took a stand against hate, which is a pretty good place to start. Perhaps tomorrow we’ll root out corruption and hold those at the top accountable for their ill deeds, but for now let’s just be glad there’s one less hateful prick roaming our streets.
