The Millennials Are Angry About the #HowToConfuseAMillennial Hashtag

Baby Boomers and Gen X tried to take on millennials on Twitter. Turns out they got schooled, and some of the responses make for great reading.

Did you know the millennial generation, also known as Generation Y, consists of people born between 1982 and 2004?

Let’s remember that as a hashtag attempting to offend went viral this past weekend.

#HowToConfuseAMillennial started trending on Twitter this weekend and, basically, it was an opportunity for some Baby Boomers and Gen X users to dish out some flak to the generation they practically hate.

Even Jesus threw some shade:

Now I am not sure about you, but when I was living in the 90s I sure had to wind up a VHS. Hell, I even had to use a phone booth to call my mom when I needed a lift.

It wasn’t long before people started to hit back:

Yeah, they really should have thought about that hashtag before they committed to it.

Wrong generation, buddy.
