Careaux is the moniker of Caroll Lynn, a sneakerhead and illustrator.
For the past three years, the Netherlands-born Australian-based graphic designer has been reimagining her designs on PUMA gear – while showing off her collection of PUMA goods – through her Instagram account.
This season she teamed up with PUMA (after they made contact) for a collection that reflects on the five most significant people in her life’s journey and her hallmark floral pattern, “Dedication Flower,” became her signature.
Infused throughout the PUMA x CAREAUX collection, this colorful, optimistic motif reflects her personality, from the palette of the footwear to the aesthetic of the apparel designs.
Here’s a snapshot of her Instagram:
The collection sees a colourful and optimistic hallmark infused throughout, evident from the palette of the footwear to the aesthetic of the apparel designs.
Here are the features of her collection available in PUMA Select Stores in South Africa, just in time to celebrate Spring:
A PUMA classic that Caroll Lynn lends her personal touch with is the PUMA Suede. The Suede x Careaux (R1 399) is available in a delicate pallet of white, black or rose suede and features her feminine illustrations with the upper finished in overall classic suede material.
The Blaze Of Glory x Careaux x Graphic (R1 899) is a real stand out piece within the collection, featuring PUMA Trinomic tooling, Caroll Lynn creatively combines the functionality of the classic silhouette with art. It features the symbolic rose print she designed with iconic BOG elements finished with perforated leather giving it a soft romantic touch.
The apparel also features Careaux’s signature graphics throughout. The PUMA x Careaux Rev. Bomber (R3 999) offers a true women’s fit in a classic silhouette. The reversible satin bomber features one side in a delicate colour pallet range with the other side showcasing the Careaux print. The collection is further comprised of feminine jersey tops and sweatshirts in the same soft aesthetic, seen throughout the collaborative collection.
Personally, I wouldn’t mind that Reversible Bomber, perfect timing for the change of the season.
