Two Women In Their 20s Document Holiday Cruise On Instagram – Secretly Smuggling R330 Million Of Cocaine

There's nothing strange about two young ladies enjoying the good life aboard a cruise ship, but how they paid for it all is somewhat out the box.

Cruise ship holidays aren’t for everyone, but it seems like Canadians Isabelle Lagace and Melina Roberge had themselves a grand old time aboard the Sea Princess.

The pair, 28 and 23 respectively, spent two months aboard the ship and visited idyllic locations like French Polynesia, Chile, Ecuador and Bermuda.

They were sure to snap pics along the way and share on Melina’s Instagram account, which is still active HERE.

A few pics for your enjoyment below:

I guess they had to pay for the jaunt somehow, the cruise costing a reported Australian $20 000 (R221 000) per head. How they managed to do so became clear upon arrival in Australia, with this from NewsAU:

When the Sea Princess docked at Sydney’s international terminal at Circular Quay, Australian Border Force officials were waiting to welcome her.

They posted a picture of their own: the contents of her suitcase. Inside the suitcases of all three Quebecers the officers allegedly found bag upon bag of cocaine. They estimate between them the trio had allegedly hauled about 95kg of the white powder into Sydney, a stash worth around $30 million on the street.

Here’s the Facebook post from the Border Force:

You best believe the pair, arrested along with 63-year-old Canadian Andre Jorge Tamine, are in some serious kak:

The arrests carry with them the possibility of life in prison. Australian Border Force released a statement warning international drug syndicates would not get away with smuggling drugs into Australia.

Crime might pay for a luxury cruise and some sweet Instagram posts, but in the end it just ain’t worth it.
