Last night saw 2OV readers in Cape Town, Jozi and Durban enjoying a preview screening of The Shallows, and judging by your tweets it was thrill a minute stuff.
Unfortunately tickets were limited and not everyone who emailed or tweeted in landed a ticket, but there is good news for those who missed out.
The Shallows opens nationwide in Ster-Kinekor cinemas today, August 26, so if you’re up for a suspense-filled psychological thriller look no further.
In the movie, paradise is turned upside down when the only thing separating accomplished surfer Mia (Blake Lively) from the shore is a massive great white shark.
The trailer should fill in the gaps:
As the tagline goes…
WHAT WAS ONCE IN THE DEEP IS NOW IN THE SHALLOWS!
Best enjoyed at the cinemas with someone you can cling onto, apparently.
Keep an eye out for future preview screenings as well, we have some real gems coming up soon and we wouldn’t want you to miss out.
