When I arrive at someone’s house for the first time there are a few things I like to sniff out – what’s on the bookshelf (provided they have one), do they have recycle bins (green is good), and what braai are they rocking out the back.
You can tell a good deal about a person by answering those three questions above, but it’s the last one we’re going to focus on here.
A Weber is generally a good place to start, but if you see the WEBER® SUMMIT E670 out the back you’ve struck gold. Let’s start with the basics:
These outstanding grills are the crown jewels of the Weber family. From exclusive features to the highest level of performance, boasting 6 stainless steel burners, individual burner ignition systems and flush mounted side burner.
I think we should get a little nerdy about it and give all the features a run through:
I would imagine somewhere out in the platteland there are a few boets getting excited at their desks.
Yes, that should feed the troops after a game of rugby on a dusty field covered in thorns where everyone runs around barefoot.
So here’s the question that remains – what are you paying for this thing of beauty? Just the R54 899 on the official site, but we did some digging and found it on Loot for R48 378 (HERE).
Here’s a bit of good news for those who aren’t keen on forking out that much for a braai, though. We’ll be running a competition shortly, during the build-up to National Heritage Day (or Braai Day for some) on September 24, with the winner taking home a lekker Weber braai.
Details to follow, but for now just marvel at the beauty of a braai well made.
