By now you should know about the saga of U.S. swimmer Ryan Lochte lying to his mom after a bender in Rio last weekend, only to have it spiral into media chaos – you can read about that HERE.

Not only did he release the poorest apology – HERE – but he has been dropped by the majority of his sponsors, except for a mattress company. I guess he needs something to soften his fall from hero status.

American media hated on him with headlines like “Liar, Liar, Speedo on Fire”, but some of those who attended the Rio Olympics are leaving behind another sort of message:

Sorry about Ryan Lochte.

You see, there’s a white board at Rio de Janeiro’s international airport and it’s the most common message written on it .

He must be cringing so hard.
