When most international rugby players hang up their boots they turn to SuperSport, where we watch them tap touch screens and trade jokes with Naas and the manne.

Not so for Big Joe van Niekerk, who has fallen off the radar ever since retiring after a successful stint with Toulon in France.

It was a photo back in November (HERE) that first raised eyebrows, many sending the snap our way and asking what we knew. Then a second photo of the bearded Joe emerged (HERE), and one amateur sleuth put in the hard yards and solved where Joe was (HERE).

All that was last year though, which leaves us asking what Joe’s up to these days. Cue this picture sent our way, taken from the Facebook page of a Swellendam-based health shop called Nourish, selling ‘Superfood Smoothies, Green Juices, Healthy Organic Snacks, Teas, Coffee and Cakes’.
