Just two years after Keith and Mandy split, Keith’s new lady friend, Sonia, hit the jackpot, winning R1.1 billion in the Euromillions draw.

That was Sunday – read HERE – and now, in true UK-tabloid form, Mandy was contacted by the press over her feelings towards the win, seeing as she isn’t really included in it.

Well, to many people’s disappointment I am sure, she’s really happy about it – although she hasn’t spoken to her ex, Keith, since the winnings were announced.

Mandy continued:

It is his money and he can do what he wants with it.

There is no bitterness at all. It is his money and he can do what he wants with it.

I have spoken to my daughters since the win and they are all happy. We are all very happy – it is great news. There is no bitterness on my part at all. We still get on well for the sake of the children and that’s is all there is to it. I have not spoken to Keith about it but I have spoken to my daughters and they were thrilled. I don’t want to say anymore – other than we are all very happy.

However, there seems to be some issues on Sonia’s side of the family, after her estranged son suddenly appeared on her radar again and got a bit miff with the press when they asked him about their relationship, telling them he would call the cops if they stuck around..

But I guess more of that will come as tabloids digs deeper into the family.

Pity.
