There isn’t much time to be a normal teenager when your father is the leader of the free world, but Chelsea Clinton made it through and has become a well-adjusted woman.
Well sorry for you, because it’s back on the campaign trail to help mom take control of the White House once more.
I don’t imagine there are many children around the world, if any, who can say both their parents have been president though.
Rolling Stone certainly thinks she hit her introduction at the DNC out the park:
Chelsea wove between her earliest memories of her mother (speaking of her mom reading her Goodnight Moon when she was a child). “Regardless of what happened in my life, she was always, always there for me,” she asserted. She also addressed how supportive her parents have been through the years. “That feeling, being valued and loved, that’s something that my mom wants for every child. It is the calling of her life”…
Her speech came just before a moving video narrated by Morgan Freeman, which featured a bevy of Clinton supporters, including President Obama and 9/11 survivors who spoke of her concern during the attacks.
Afterward, Chelsea returned to proudly introduce “my mother, my hero, and our next president, Hillary Clinton.”
Hit it Chels…
If you’re wanting to compare Chelsea’s intro with Ivanka’s intro you can see the latter’s speech HERE.
