Australia really is having a difficult time taming those who have taken on the role as a trainer in Pokemon Go.
While motorists can’t deal with pedestrians getting in the way of the road whilst trying to catch a Porygon (HERE), transit officials in Melbourne can’t deal with motorists playing the game while driving.
So what they have done is put up big, glowing signs warning drivers not to play the AR game. Electric signs all over the city will say:
DON’T DRIVE AND POKEMON.
Cute.
So original.
Signs will be seen in the city starting today. VicRoads, the transit authority of the Victoria state, said:
We know how popular it is and it could be very tempting … We just want to keep everyone safe on the road, so we’re asking them not to do that.
Here are what the signs look like – although if people are playing the game, why in the world would they look up to read a sign? Such a waste of time.
