It has been labelled as ‘adult humour’ by the UK’s Channel 4 and, well, viewers didn’t quite get the last part.
In a new dating “reality” show, contestants have to get naked before choosing a date. Each episode sees two people view six naked people in various colour boxes.
As the show goes on, more nudity is revealed until, at last, the contestant has to get naked themselves before choosing “the one”.
Airing for the first time on Monday, viewers thought the show was “creepy”, claiming “our society has reached a new low.”
Watch the trailer below – what you think?
During the whole episode, host Anna Richardson asks pointed questions about why the contestant has chosen this method of finding a mate and props to her for maintaining eye contact.
Aina, who was a contestant on the first episode, is still dating the man she matched with a month later, but that didn’t do anything for the viewers’ sour taste in their mouth.
It would be interesting if they ran a show like this here – do you think SABC would screen it? If they did, perhaps the couple vibrator from Désir would be the ultimate prize for the winning couple – I definitely think so.
From the looks of it I would probably want to watch this over that awful Big Brother.
