We don’t live in the American midwest, which means we’re not often subjected to the tornadoes that frequent that region.
Usually, that is, because yesterday’s nationwide frosty conditions caused a rather odd occurrence up in Gauteng.
Folks in the Magaliesburg area, about 80 km outside of Jozi, were quick to grab their cameras and capture the action.
First up is this from resident Mario Ferreira, who filmed this at around 3:30PM.
Another video was uploaded to Facebook by Amin Hassam, who was at Koesterfontein Farm, which clearly shows the tornado coming into contact with the ground.
