In the world of dubbed videos, a Sir David Attenborough narration of Pokemon Go was the obvious next step.
As scores of people enter the natural world with their phones glued to their faces looking for wildlife of a different kind, someone recorded their first encounter with the game and then edited it along with the legend naturalist’s narrations.
A few favourites were lines like, “It is, of course, a bird.” Referring to a Spearow, you don’t have to hear it to know how Sir David would say it.
Another line occurs when a Zubat appears: “Bats, with their fluttering zigzag flight are not easy targets,” which is true when trying to throw a Pokeball at one.
But when the player does catch the Zubat, Sir David can be heard saying, “That is one bat that will not return to the roost tonight.”
