When photographers have lost their way, they turn to the money makers to earn their bread. While some quickly take the wedding photography route, others go into portraits of families, school children, babies, and even pregnant woman.
Sure, being pregnant is a journey – and when it’s your first time, everything about it is new. You are growing another life in your own personal incubator, and in nine or so months you will be responsible for the birth of another human.
Through this time, there will be many decisions you will have to make – and some mothers put a lot of time into choosing the type of pregnant photography shoot they will have.
To make that choice easier for you, here’s the latest trend: underwater.
While you can opt for a solo mission, others invite their partners for support. After all, the all too common phrase is, “We are pregnant.”
The bottom one is the best. But we aren’t done yet.
The trend has now been adopted by famous mothers-to-be, who are floating in the water trying to look serene. At first, it was water baby and professional surfer Bethany Hamilton, who is known for surviving a shark attack, that helped the trend gain traction.
But that was months ago, and in the sea is her natural habitat:
Things got a bit awkward, however, when indie singer Alanis Morissette recently jumped in a pool and attempted to look serene.
Remember, moms, there is nothing serene about looking serene when taking a photo of you trying to be serene to prove your serenity.
