A freak accident near Winburg, Free State, has Facebook commenters wondering just how a bakkie could end up in such a position.

Posted to the Free State Department of Health page, a photograph showed a bakkie standing vertical against an electricity pole. With its nose in the ground, back tyre missing, and back door swung open, you need a seriously creative imagination to figure out just how the bakkie ended up there.

The accident took place on Saturday along the N5 and little detail has been given about the incident, other than that one person suffered moderate injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital.

What do you think happened? All I have to say is that speed probably played a massive role.
