You Will Never Fully Grasp How Big Pokemon Go Is Until You Watch These Videos Of U.S. Players

Flocks of Pokemon Go players have been finding their way to popular spots to play the game - and when a Pokemon appears, things get real crazy.

All this time I have thought that seeing around ten Pokemon Go enthusiasts in The Company’s Garden was amazing, but there’s nothing like the shit that’s been going down in the States and most probably the cause for Pokemon Go‘s servers being down the whole weekend. Hackers claimed responsibility for that.

Public spaces have become the latest meeting place for players, forcing people to get out of their homes and walk to achieve anything. Apparently, the real-life forced meetups are working better than Tinder.

Videos showing people flocking to an area after alerts of rare Pokemon sightings were sent out have found their way to the Internet – and they show that people have been going a little cuckoo.

Here’s what happened when a Squirtle showed up at Downtown Park in Bellevue, Washington. Check how that dude just nudged his friend out of the way.

Just a little hint: You can turn off AR mode.

Then there’s this video recorded outside an historical library in Utah, the third night in a row where people hung out at the site. I think it’s a Gym.

Lastly (at least for now) here’s what a Wartortle sighting in Santa Monica looks like:

It is crazy to see the variety of people playing the game and getting outside, but I am super grateful numbers have yet to reach this magnitude in South Africa.
