If you were labouring under the misapprehension that Playboy models were a generally level-headed bunch then meet Dani Mathers, who may want to take some time away from social media after a rather big gaffe.
The 29-year-old LA resident shared a picture of a naked woman in her local gym, captioning it ‘If I can’t unsee this then you can’t either!’
That really didn’t go down well, and she was forced to do the old ‘delete-apology’ we’re becoming accustomed to.
Here’s the Snapchat that started the trouble:
The Daily Mail with a summary of the outrage:
Slamming her actions on Twitter, Hollie Taylor wrote: ‘@DaniMathers it’s people like you that make others feel uneasy about changing openly in locker rooms. appalling.’
While Priscilla Sanchez added: ‘@DaniMathers that poor woman’s naked body is now circulating the internet when she never intended it to. It’s really heartbreaking.’
The Random Man tweeted: ‘You owe that girl an apology!’
Bonnie Reynolds wrote: ‘Stop. You aren’t sorry you did it, you’re sorry you got caught and are getting blasted.’
Fine, let’s go ahead and air the apology:
Being forced to issue an apology is just the beginning of her troubles though, with more below from ET Online:
The playmate, who had a regular gig on the Heidi and Frank radio show on L.A.’s KLOS, has been suspended “indefinitely”…
She is also banned for life from LA Fitness. A spokesperson for the gym tells ET, “Our written rules are very clear: Cell phone usage and photography are prohibited in the locker rooms. This is not only our rule, but common decency”…
The LAPD confirm to ET that they have heard about the incident, but because the victim has not come forward to file a report, there will be no further action. Should the woman do so, Mathers could face a misdemeanor charge.
Should’ve just behaved like every other fool on their phone and played Pokemon Go.
