The Airbus A350 is a decent size, with some estimating that they weigh around 115 tonnes.
Why am I telling you that? Because to execute a near vertical takeoff, then, requires a lot of skill and power.
Both were on display at the 2016 Farnborough Air Show in Hampshire last week, when the aircraft zoomed into the air with plenty of runway to spare.
