Who would have thought that South Africa would have a set of twins involved in ISIS.
Yesterday, the pair appeared in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court on charges that they were plotting to attack American and Jewish interests with explosives.
Now it has come to light that one of the accused, Brandon-Lee Thulsie, had been working at Discovery for a mere two weeks. His access to their campus has been suspended pending the outcome of the group’s investigation, reported Discovery group chief executive Adrian Gore.
This was announced in an email that was sent to the staff. He assured the staff that Discovery management was working with the authorities, and that every action necessary will be taken to ensure the safety of all employees.
Here’s the full email:
Brandon and his brother, Toni-Lee, are also known as Yaqeen and Salahuddin ibn Hernani respectively – and allegedly attempted to fly to Syria last year.
I wonder if this attack was the root of those terror threats South Africa received a little while ago.
