Whenever Kim Murray sits on the sidelines of her husband’s game, all you need to do is watch her face to know how Andy is doing.
Every match point, missed serve and ace is reflected by her body language and sometimes, just sometimes, you might notice what she is wearing.
Yesterday’s Wimbledon final, featuring Andy Murray and Canadian Milos Raonic, had Murray fans wearing big grins. Playing on home turf Andy wasn’t short of support and, although Raonic’s serves can reach a staggering 236 km/h, Murray was able to secure the trophy by winning in straight sets.
Unlike the other famous faces in the crowd, Kim was easy to spot in her mustard yellow dress – and not only because it cost £2 200 (R41 000).
The top half of the pencil dress was covered in pearl detail and, along with the beautiful sunny day, it caught all the glances. The Jenny Packham design might not have been suitable for Wimbledon, but it sure got the attention she no doubt wanted.
